"God Wants Your Very Best"

Check out this three-part message delivered by Bishop David Martinez through the power of the Holy Spirit regarding how God wants your very best moving forward in the New Year of 2018. It says in Genesis 4:3-5 "In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. Then the Lord said to Cain, why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door, it desires to have you, but you must master it."

If the people of God want the Lord to look upon them with favor moving forward in this new year that God has so graciously given us, it is important to give God your very best, just like the widow did in her offering in the Gospel of Mark 12:41-44 when she gave two small copper coins that were less than a fraction of a penny. And remember... This is not about money, this is not about prosperity, and this is not about material wealth..! No! This is about your heart, this is about your obedience, and this is about giving God your very best with your life! So, please meditate on this particular account in the book of Genesis, and please check out these messages regarding how the Saints can give God their very best! "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit has to say to the church."

Here are the Eight Points in how you can give God your very best moving forward in the year 2018:

1. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord according to Romans 10:9.

2. Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead according to Romans 10:9.

3. Meditate on the Word of God day and night; not the 21st century version of meditation but the 1500BC version of meditation according to Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:2.

4. Operate in faith, because just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead according to James 2:17.

5. Love the Lord thy God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, and love your neighbor as yourself according to Matthew 22:37, Luke 10:27, Mark 12:30, and Deuteronomy 6:5.

6. Do what is right "always" in the eyes of God; for everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account according to Genesis 4:7 and Hebrews 4:13.

7. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:38.

8. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of the world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind according to Romans 12:2.

And lastly, when a person doesn't give God their very best, it is important to remember that sin is crouching at your door and it desires to have, but you must master it in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen!

May the Lord be with all his children in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen!

Genesis 4:3-5 says, "In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. But Abel brought fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor."
James 2:18-19, "But someone will say, you have faith; I have deeds. Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there is one God. Good? Even the demons believe that and shudder." #Road2TheCross.org #ChristianWayMinistries #GodWantsYourVeryBest
