Welcome to our “NEW” Christian Resource Center Page where we are making the most of every opportunity!

By the grace of God, Christian Way Ministries have been blessed with the wonderful opportunity to develop a community resource center right in the local area of Newtown and Baker Road in the Bayside District of Virginia Beach.
There are no words to describe how excited we are to finally embark on this endeavor to establish a resource center in a place where there is no local library, no local YMCA, or any other resource center within a 3 mile walking radius of the Bayside and Lake Edward community for anyone to gain available resources such as free computer access, educational awareness, financial literacy, tutoring, support groups, various counseling and city programs, access to employment opportunities, and anything pertaining to the uplifting of the local community.
The Christian Resource Center will provide a platform from a nonprofit perspective for the local community to better themselves, establish positive relationships, enhance learning, and construct a conference room setting that will enable community partners to volunteer their services. The goal is to provide the community with a plethora of available resources ranging from employment, seeking help for addictions, homelessness, assisting individuals with a criminal background, legal counsel, providing resources to obtain a G.E.D., information on advance life planning, insurance, along with helping those in the Spanish demographic.
The Christian Resource Center will attempt to establish relationships with Virginia Employment Commission, Department of Social Services, the City of Virginia Beach, and various community representatives who are invested with serving their local communities. The goal is to staff the center a minimal of 8 hours a day, Monday through Saturday with a staff member who is bi-lingual, and seek out volunteers to offer their services for the betterment of the community. The anticipated Grand-Opening for the Christian Resource Center will be on the day Christian Way Ministries does their annual Book-Bag Drive Event on Saturday, August 21, 2021.
